Lifraen was established in spring 2010, in a small fishing village on the far northwest coast of Iceland. They are passionate about producing a top-of-the-line, organic pet food based exclusively on the nutritional needs of the animal.

They approached Luko Designs with the clear intent to make the Branding and Packaging iconic, bold and fresh looking with clean lines and iconic graphics.  Since their message is “organically produced pet food” we wanted the packaging to reflect that sense of rusticity combined with a Scandinavian aesthetic which is modern and pops on the store shelves.  We also added clear windows on the sides of the packaging to help the consumer see what exactly they are buying.

Currently they have a dog, cat and turtle food line but they intend to expand to fish, reptile and bird lines.
